New Patients
Your first appointment at Mairs Family Dentistry usually will take about an hour and a half. You will get a chance to meet Dr. Mairs and he will provide a comprehensive oral exam. His exam will include an examination of the mouth for cavities, gum disease, and other dental issues. Dr. Mairs attended the University of Iowa where he received a bachelor’s degree in Biology and also played baseball for the Hawkeyes. After graduation, Dr. Mairs chose to stay in Iowa where he attended The University of Iowa College of Dentistry. In dental school, Dr. Mairs enjoyed all aspects of the art and science of dentistry.
